Another frequent testing procedure is to mechanically measure product using various micrometers, calipers, and gauge pins and blocks. Many of our mechanical measuring tools have electronic recording devices attached so that we can maintain a paper tail of measurement.

We also employ several microscopes for visual observation at high magnification of surfaces. What may look good to the unaided eye can actually have minute, but unacceptable blemishes.

We employ statistical sampling techniques when plating large quantities. Our job sizes range from individual pieces to a few thousand, to 1,000,000 pieces per day on going. In order to provide an accurate view of process stability while at the same time minimizing the amount of labor required to inspect, the statistical sampling plan is a must. The other great benefit to a statistically valid sampling plan is that it allows us to provide you with an accurate and full description of what you are receiving.
